Disappointed, wont be back
We pulled back the doona to go to bed. the doona has stains on neither of us could identify with. so, we just used the blanket. The bed was so soft that hubby had to prop himself up to sleep.
We spoke to the person in reception the next morning and showed him the room. He didn't seem fazed about our complaints. Asked for a refund for the next night and refused saying that it was less than 24hrs notice. But we wouldn't have known these things without staying there. Asked for a manager to call still no response, I called back to follow up and Spoke to the same person again assured me I would receive phone call from manager. (crickets)
UPDATE:
We have spoken with the manager who has offered us a refund of the second night's stay. We have received this amount today.

You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of AUD 200 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
