A River Flows Alongside It
The rooms were quite large and we appreciated being able to listen to the river rushing alongside the resort. We also liked the outside in-room onsen here.
The only down-side of this resort is that it is quite ensconced in the forest. There appears to be nothing right outside the resort within walking distance.
No matter, the staff here were excellent. I would consider coming back again.
The speaker in the lounge is...something special.

My stay at Niseko Konbu Onsen Tsuruga Bessou Moku no Sho was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had anywhere. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly professional, providing impeccable service with genuine warmth and attention to detail.
The hotel itself exudes a perfect blend of luxury and traditional Japanese charm, with beautifully designed rooms that offer a serene and cozy atmosphere. The onsen facilities were outstanding, providing a deeply relaxing experience after a day of skiing. The cuisine was exceptional, with carefully prepared seasonal dishes that highlighted the best of Hokkaido’s flavors.
Every aspect of the stay—from the flawless hospitality to the tranquil ambiance—made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a top-tier stay in Niseko.

It's apparent in the booking that we will have kids in the stay, and yet either Trip.com/hotel charged us meals for 4 adults for the entire trip. We ended up overpaying A LOT and wasting A LOT of food because the kids couldn't finish the set meal. Yet the hotel refused to adjust / refund. This was a serious mistake made by Trip.com / hotel.
The hotel provided shuttle bus to the ski resort. Good that there was early shuttle bus around 815am BUT the return shuttle was way too early (4pm) for any serious skiers. The hotel should offer more options.
There was no gym in the hotel and difficult to do some proper full-body exercise.
Onsen set up was nice and clean and tidy. The public onsen wasn't used much so it ended up a big private onsen for us.
We like the traditional Japanese cusine but very disappointed that the chef provided limited changes on the menu during our 7 nights of stay. We spent roughly same number of nights elsewhere in Niseko and the design of their menu was way better.
Staff in general was very helpful and friendly and some of them spoke English and Chinese.
The hotel was short of staff IMO. I could see them running around in the hotel.
The ski equipment room could be equipped with better facility to dry ski boots and gloves.
Shuttle bus was only offered to Niseko but not Kutchan station which was in fact not too far away anyway.
The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was great too. It's 10mins from the Niseko station and 5mins from annupuri ski run.
