Starting from 1 April 2022, Hotel it. Osaka Shinmachi , working on SDGs , will change style of provision of amenities for reduction of the plastic garbage. Room amenities will be provided at the reception . If you wish, we will sell environmentally friendly room amenities (toothbrush, shave) at the front desk. Disposable amenities will be gradually replaced to eco-friendly products. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to customers who have used the amenities of the hotel, and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
An accommodation tax is required in Osaka from January, 2017. Guests are required to pay JPY 100 per guest per night if the room rate per night is between JPY 7,000 and JPY 14,999, JPY 200 per guest per night if the room rate per night is between JPY 15,000 and JPY 19,999, and JPY 300 per guest per night if the room rate per night is JPY 20,000 or greater. This surcharge is not included in the total rate for some rooms and shall be paid at the hotel. For details, please confirm with the hotel. According to the Osaka City Ordinance, the accommodation tax in Osaka City will be revised starting September 1, 2025. The tax will be charged per person per night based on the accommodation fee: 5,000 JPY to 15,000 JPY per person per night: 200 JPY tax 15,000 JPY to 20,000 JPY per person per night: 400 JPY tax Over 20,000 JPY per person per night: 500 JPY tax Some room rates do not include the accommodation tax, and guests may be required to pay it separately at the front desk.
