Lovely warm and friendly family-run hotel
We were a large extended family group and rooms included beach front, pool view and garden view.
All rooms were comfortable and clean with daily cleaning and fresh towels. The resort is a bit dated but everything was in good working order and beds were big and comfortable. We also arranged a number of transfers through the hotel too which were well priced and nice to have aircon!
Mrs Su and her family are delightful and the staff all friendly and keen to help,
Breakfast includes a choice of meals in addition to fruit, juices, toasts and coffees.
Lunches and dinners were delicious!
We went for the full moon party so the whole area was extremely busy and very loud. The beach rooms in particular get alot of noise during the party times so book pool or garden if you want it a bit quieter.
Beach was nice at the Palita lodge end, and the pool was wonderful, plenty of shade on offer for those trying not to burn.
Easy walk into the main town.

Palita lodge food experience
Order took a long 15-20 minutes
Costs was THB 150
Well packed
However, I was super bothered by the mango being sour and not sweet, ruined the experience.

Lovely rooms and staff
The owners (the lady, sorry can’t remember her name was wonderful) and staff are all lovely. Their driver is super reasonable
Their end of the beach is clean, has some shade and bean bags to lay on.
Breakfast is good, simple but good and prepared fresh
Lunch is delicious
We had connecting rooms for a family of 5. Beds were huge, super clean and nice toiletries supplied. Cool outside shower and giant bath

Hidden gem. Perfect location. Great stay. Would recommend Palita Lodge.
My husband & I booked for 3 nights & leave tomorrow & so wish we’d booked a longer stay.
We have loved our few days at this lovely hotel. Great location & breakfast area overlooks a beautiful beach. So very relaxing.
We were going to hire a motorbike for a few days but decided we just wanted to stay here and enjoy the R&R.
Staff are all lovely, very friendly & welcoming.
Breakfast is basic but all cooked freshly by order (eggs, bacon etc) Fruits, salad, toast etc available on a small buffet table.
Great coffee machine.
We also ate at the restaurant at lunchtime & evening & every meal was well prepared, arrived hot & tasty.
Stunning beach area & sea calm & warm.
Lovely pool available to use with views across the beach.
We booked a bungalow with pool view which was perfect. Good size, great bed, comfortable pillows. (Room 104)
Bungalow terrace was a great size & perfect for sipping beers on the evening after a day on the beach. Safe & fridge provided. Great AC.
Few minutes walk down the beach to other bars & restaurants & main resort (7 Eleven, shops, clubs, massage parlours)
Best of both worlds, tranquility & night life if needed.
Reception were very helpful in arranging our tickets for our ferry return to Koh Samui & taxi to pier (cheaper than our arrival journey)
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend & will definitely return to this property (outside of the Full Moon Party dates )
